Privacy policy

You should know what happens to your data. This policy explains what EuroConnexxion uses, why we use it, and the choices and rights you have.

  • Only the data we need
  • Statistics only with permission
  • Questions? Get in touch

1. Who is responsible?

EuroConnexxion B.V., Wilhelminastraat 20, 7591 TN Denekamp, the Netherlands, is the controller for the processing described here. Contact us at contact@euroconnexxion.com or +31 (0)541 753 928.

This policy covers our website, enquiries, applications and contact by phone, email or WhatsApp. Information needed later for an employment agreement, payroll or housing is covered by the arrangements and information for those services.

2. What information do we use?

Required fields are marked. Without that information we cannot process the form; you can still contact us in another way, such as by phone. A CV is optional. Do not include identity documents, a BSN, bank details or medical information in an initial application.

  • For an enquiry: your name, email address, message and anything you add, such as a phone number, company name or staffing requirements.
  • For an application: your name, email, phone number, country of residence, availability, preferred language, experience, certificates and work preferences, and a CV if you choose to attach one.
  • For WhatsApp contact: your phone number, profile information you make visible and the messages or files you share with us.
  • For website use: necessary technical information such as IP address, browser and connection details, and security information. To limit form requests, our application stores a daily-changing pseudonymous code instead of the raw IP address. The hosting and security provider does process the IP address to deliver and protect the site.

3. Why may we use this information?

Completing a form does not mean agreeing to marketing. The website does not make automated decisions about your suitability for work. A member of our team reviews your message or application.

  • To answer your question and record arrangements. For business enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in being available and organising our services, using only the information needed.
  • To handle an application at your request, stay in contact and discuss temporary work. The basis is taking steps at your request before a possible agreement.
  • To protect the website and forms from spam and abuse. This serves our legitimate interest in providing secure and reliable services.
  • Where the law requires us to retain or disclose data, that legal obligation is the basis. We ask for separate consent to keep application information longer for future opportunities.

4. Who receives your information?

Contact and application forms are sent through Postmark to the team handling the language of the form. Polish forms go to Adrian Izdebski at adrian@euroconnexxion.com and Portuguese forms to Brahim Abchir at brahim@euroconnexxion.com, both with a copy to contact@euroconnexxion.com. Dutch and English forms go to contact@euroconnexxion.com. We handle submissions in our Microsoft 365 mailboxes. The website does not maintain a separate message or CV file in its database or file storage. Copies and delivery information may be present in Postmark and the mailbox.

Staff handling your enquiry or application have access as needed. We use hosting and security providers, including Cloudflare. Providers processing data on our behalf must act within the applicable data processing arrangements.

For a specific placement, necessary profile information may be shared with a client. We discuss that next step with you first; the website form does not automatically forward your CV to clients. We do not sell personal data. We disclose information to competent authorities where legally required.

5. Phone or WhatsApp: your choice

Our Polish and Portuguese pages let you contact the person responsible for that language directly. WhatsApp is optional; you may also call or use our website form.

The WhatsApp button is an ordinary link. Simply visiting our site does not load a WhatsApp chat widget. Opening the link takes you to the WhatsApp/Meta service, which also has its own privacy terms. Share only what is needed for your enquiry.

6. How long do we keep information?

A legal retention duty or specific dispute may justify retaining necessary information longer. Providers’ backups and technical logs have their own recovery and deletion cycles. We consider these copies when handling deletion requests.

  • Applications that do not lead to a placement: we remove application information from our active administration within four weeks after the process ends. To contact you about future opportunities, we ask separately for consent to keep your information for up to one year. You may withdraw that consent earlier.
  • Enquiries and WhatsApp messages: as long as needed to handle your question and record arrangements. At completion, we assess whether an ongoing arrangement, legal duty or specific dispute requires retention. Application messages follow the application period above.
  • Postmark temporarily retains message content and delivery information under the service’s configured retention period. Postmark describes a default of 45 days; account settings may differ. This is separate from our mailbox retention. Ask us for information about the applicable period and deletion.
  • The local cookie choice and the Analytics cookies we configure expire after at most 180 days. Cloudflare’s __cf_bm security cookie, when used, expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
  • Temporary request limits and used captcha codes expire after a maximum of 10 and 20 minutes respectively. The website removes expired records in batches during subsequent requests. These records contain no message text or CVs.

7. Processing outside the EEA

Our providers operate internationally. Data may therefore be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Postmark uses US infrastructure; other providers may also process information internationally.

The relevant service’s privacy and processing terms describe applicable safeguards, such as European Commission-approved standard contractual clauses or a valid adequacy decision. The safeguard depends on the service and agreement. You can ask us for information or a copy of the relevant safeguards.

8. Your rights and complaints

You can request access, correction or deletion. Subject to GDPR conditions, you can also request restriction and data portability, and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Email contact@euroconnexxion.com or use our contact form. We normally respond within one month. For a complex request, this may be extended by up to two further months; we explain the reason within the first month. We may request suitable information to verify your identity. Do not send a copy of your identity document unprompted.

You can complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl or the competent authority in the EU country where you live or work. You do not have to complain to us first.

9. Security, cookies and changes

The website uses HTTPS, and forms have spam checks, server validation and request limits. Mail credentials are not in browser code. We minimise personal information stored for the website to operate.

We use necessary cookies and local storage for operation and security. Google Analytics runs only with your permission. Change or withdraw your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. We have not added advertising cookies.

We update this policy when our services or processing change. The latest revision date is shown above. Please contact us with any questions.

10. Google Analytics and your choice

On the public website we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited and relevant Google entities) to understand which information is viewed and improve the site. The legal basis is your consent. Without permission we do not load the Google tag or send cookieless measurements. Staging and other test addresses are excluded.

After consent, Google receives information including pages visited, time, language, device characteristics and a cookie identifier. It also processes connection data, including your IP address on receipt and to derive location. Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. This does not mean that all Analytics data is anonymous.

Our code does not send visitors’ completed forms, names, email addresses, phone numbers or CVs. The tag is not loaded on standalone contact, application-form, thank-you or error pages. On recruitment landing pages, with consent, we may also measure application clicks, form starts, successful submissions and WhatsApp or phone clicks. Only fixed event labels, job profile, language, button placement and a general traffic-source category are sent, without field values or phone numbers from clicked links. We remove query parameters and fragments from measured page URLs and limit referring URLs to the domain. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our tag.

The _ga and _ga_… cookies have a configured maximum lifetime of 180 days, without renewing on every page. Your browser choice also lasts at most 180 days. Retention of data at Google is a separate Analytics-property setting; you can ask us about the applicable period. Deleting a browser cookie does not automatically delete previously collected data at Google.

Choose “Essential only” to refuse or “Allow statistics” to consent. Both choices let you use the website and forms. You can withdraw through Cookie settings. We then stop measurement and remove accessible Analytics cookies. Withdrawal does not affect earlier processing. Google may process data internationally, including in the United States; Google’s terms describe the applicable transfer safeguards.

Searching our website

Your query is used to find website content, not to assess you as a candidate. We do not keep a search history in our own search database. Only with statistics consent do we measure fixed topic, result and question identifiers. Full queries, form contents and contact details are not sent to Analytics. Queries in a page URL may appear in technical hosting logs. An open application does not automatically give permission to keep your details for future vacancies or marketing.
